- Mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
- Add butter, milk, and flour to the mashed potatoes. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
2. Form the Patties:
- Take a portion of the potato mixture and flatten it into a small patty in your hand.
- Place a tablespoon of shredded cheese in the center of the patty, then mold the potato around the cheese, forming a sealed ball.
- Flatten the ball slightly to form a patty ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed inside.
3. Coat and Arrange:
- Gently press each patty into breadcrumbs, coating them evenly on both sides.
- Arrange the patties on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle or spray a little olive oil over the top to help them brown.
4. Bake:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Bake the patties for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden and crispy on the outside.
5. Serve:
- Let the patties cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese inside to set slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley for an added touch of color and freshness.
